Payroll made easy

The situation
LuLaRoe is a United States-based designer and seller of women's clothing that uses a multi-level marketing model to distribute products. LuLaRoe was founded in 2012 by Deanne Brady and her husband Mark Stidham, and is based in Corona, California. As a multi-level marketing company, LuLaRoe recruits independent distributors (referred to by the firm as "fashion consultants") to sell products directly, often through social media.
The challenge
Instant access to funds is drove the need and the success of the U.S. based program for LuLaRoe. The clothing designer, which depends on individual distributors, needed a way to pay its retail agents quickly.
The solution
By working with the company’s credit card acquirer, EML provides a reloadable prepaid Mastercard that can be loaded with an agent’s share of a sale anytime the agent accepts a credit card payment.
The outcome
Since implementing EML’s system, LuLaroe has signed up 72,000 cardholders and increased their overall efficacy in paying commission to their agents. There is also able to be more oversite on this process and agents have appreciated the quick access they are able to get to their commission.
